On another note [25 Jul 2008|12:03pm] kimi_chan Last night I went to see my little brother's year 12 drama performance. It was moderation night but he'd asked me to be there anyway. Going to see a school play was about the last thing I felt like doing, especially since it went for 4.5 hours, being two plays one after another. After much hassle with missing every form of public transport I finally made it there, had to sit through half a play to get to his performance and was completely blown away when he stepped on stage. He was seriously brilliant, even taking away the bias of that, he was simply amazing. I didn't recognise him because he was so into his character (who was very much not like my brother at all). They each had a rant to do and he was the only one who got through it naturally and without stumbling over the words and having to stop to get back on track. I really hope he gets a mark that reflects his performance. And I super hope that his NIDA audition goes as well as that did. post comment

I've also finished my war literature reading for the moment (Verses of a V.A.D., Three Soldiers, All Quiet on the Western Front, A Farewell to Arms, An Ice-Cream War and Her Privates We) and have the early stages of a tan/sunburn on my right arm. Editing of 'Quietus' has happened. I've almost beaten Carmite Cave on Rune Factory (Nicholas reminds me of Pyjamas, by the way). Right now, for a change, this Summer looks promising. The Pancakes and I might be going out to the river today, if they consent to getting out of bed. post comment

I'm afraid I have more important things to do than deal with the messes you created.
